Being independent means picking the best projects.

I have done a couple projects for the Biennial of the Americas over the years, This one was simple and heartfelt. The "Mile in My Shoes" installation was a "blink and you miss it" opportunity for Denver, but it has lasting impact. My buddy Brooke Jones at Random Acts of Kindness helped fund it, and the indomitable FloraJane Rienzo at the Biennial of the Americas found it and willed it to happen. The people we interviewed, including the three featured in this video, had unbelievable stories to tell. Every one story had a lesson, a plea and a wisdom from which we can all learn.
